On Tuesday 11 May 2021, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg will release the 2021-2022 Federal budget. This budget will provide the framework for the government's path to recovery and will outline economic forecasts for the year ahead, as it seeks to address the economic impacts of COVID-19.

As Australia navigates out of a historic pandemic and recession; this budget is set to be one of the most significant in years. Our speakers will provide their insights and an analysis on budget outcomes, from deficit, spending, tax, revenue and key portfolios to focus on.

We will hear from Rachel Thompson, Minister Counsellor, Treasury at the Australian Embassy in Beijing, Richard Yetsenga, Chief Economist, ANZ Banking Group and Cherelle Murphy, Chief Economist, Austrade.
