To facilitate discussion on medtech collaboration and partnership opportunities between Australia and the Republic of Korea, the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) in Korea is pleased to invite you to join our upcoming webinar, 'Exploring Medtech Innovation and Collaboration Between Australia and Korea'.


Taking place between 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm KST on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, the event will include opening remarks from Helen Oh, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Austrade.


Aiming to give a holistic overview of both the Korean market opportunities and pathways to success that can be taken by Australian (and global) companies, the event will comprise of several industry presentations. The first, titled 'Key Trends and Opportunities Within South Korea's Medtech Market', will be presented by Ruslan Tursunov, Project Director at Intralink, giving insights into recent developments in medtech here in Korea.

Building-up on this presentation, we will hear from Rob Scott, Managing Director, Australia Asia Technology Incubator (AATI), who will share insights on 'Connecting the Dots: Expansion Pathways for Australian Medtech Companies'.


Finally, to delve deeper into the experience of Australian medtech companies interested in expanding into Asia, we will hear from an iconic Australian biotech company expanding into Asia, Cochlear. Titled 'Bringing Australia's Hearing Technology Innovation to Korea - Insights from Cochlear', the case study will be co-presented by Stephanie Yoon, General Manager, Cochlear Korea, and Jason Chai, Director, Market Access & Government Affairs (APAC).


The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session, moderated by Rowan Petz, Executive Director at AustCham Korea.
