Dr Siddall is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She is Australia’s Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy to the Republic of Korea. Dr Siddall has previously served overseas at Australian missions in Tokyo and Moscow. She has been seconded to the Office of National Assessments.

Dr Siddall holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Queensland. She speaks Japanese, Russian and French.

Julie commenced her role as Austrade’s Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner for Korea and Mongolia in January 2021. Her role is focused on attracting Korean investors to Australia and growing Australia’s goods and services trade to Korea and Mongolia.
Since her commencement with Austrade in 2020, Julie previously had worked as a Head of Austrade Centre of Excellence in Health in Melbourne, Australia.

Julie has almost 30 years of Health and Biotech experience before joining Austrade, including roles at the University of Melbourne, Neurology Ireland Limited, Florey Neuroscience Institutes, Victorian Cancer Biobank, Australian Phenomics Network and Bionic Vision Technologies Pty Ltd.

Prior to that Julie has over 9 years of Marketing, Sales and Trade professions at ICI Australia and Abbot Diagnostics Division.

Julie has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Applied Biology) from RMIT, Graduate Diploma in Business (Marketing) from Monash University and Master of Engineering from RMIT.

Jodi West is the Country Head for ANZ Vietnam, a position that she’s held since August 2018. ANZ Vietnam is an Institutional bank,supporting large local corporates, multinationals and financial institutions with their banking and finance requirements in Vietnam. Jodi is responsible for the end-to-end performance of the business, which is split across 2 locations – Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi.

Before relocating to Vietnam, Jodi spent over 20 years working in financial markets in Australia and New Zealand. She held a variety of roles, including sales, structuring and management. Given the large number of gas and iron-ore projects developed in Australia
over the last 12 years, Jodi has worked with a number of Australian and international companies to manage their FX and commodity exposures. She joined ANZ in 2015 to lead ANZ’s Institutional FX Solutions business in Australia.

Jodi has a Master in Applied Finance (Macquarie University), Master of Business Administration (University of New England), Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Economics (University of New England) Bachelor of International Business (Griffith
University), and recently completed an Executive Diploma in Global Business through Oxford University.

Tanya Moon (Investment Director of TIQ Korea)

Tanya Moon was appointed as the inaugural Investment Director for Trade and Investment Korea in April 2020. As the Investment Director, Tanya is responsible for facilitating investment into Queensland by sourcing investment opportunities and assisting Korean investors navigate through the investment process.

Prior to taking up the role with TIQ, Tanya worked in Investment Banking (mergers & acquisitions) in Sydney covering natural resources and infrastructure including oil & gas, base metals, and other commodities.

Tanya has experience working with global clients through her years of experience working in corporate finance at Rothschild and PwC where she was involved in major greenfield and brownfield projects in the natural resources and energy sectors.

Tanya holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a CFA candidate.

Born in a slot machine and raised in Las Vegas, Sabrina Hosford proudly calls Hong Kong her home for over 13 years. She has traded in her black chips for breathtaking hikes and wakesurfing in Sai Kung.

Beginning her career as a financial auditor in San Jose, CA after university, she quickly realized that she would have to drink a copious amount of wine to endure the pain incurred from inventory observations and annual audits. Life is too short so instead she decided to take the leap and allow passion to prevail.

Sabrina then became a certified sommelier and started her love affair in wine at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. Following several roles in the wine sector, she found herself in Hong Kong where she is now Head of Commercial in the International team within the Woolworths Group. Sabrina is able to apply her expertise in wine distribution to a retail company that is pivoting to grow multiple B2B business units. She leads of team of category experts to bring products to over 19 different countries across the globe. When not on zoom and google meet calls, Sabrina is spending time with her wonderful children, husband and soaking up what Hong Kong’s natural wonders have to offer.
