Dan Hamilton is currently Managing Director of Diageo Korea, having been in role since September 2020.

Prior to Korea Dan held the position of General Manager Diageo Northern Europe, a high margin growth business covering 7 countries across Benelux and the Nordics. In this role he reshaped the business to tap into emerging consumer trends and successfully managed the team through the highly volatile early stages of the Covid pandemic.

With more than 10 years with Diageo, he has also held General Management positions in Japan and China, as well functional leadership roles in business development & strategy across Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Diageo, Dan held strategy and business development positions in the hospitality industry including Director Business Development & Strategy for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) Greater China and Business Development Director IHG Japan.

Dan brings a wealth of experience across beverage alcohol and consumer focused industries which will help shape the next phase of growth for Diageo Korea and enhance its position as an industry leader and pioneer.

Dan is well known for his positive leadership style, focused on harnessing growth opportunities, investing in the development of people and building strong mutually beneficial relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Graduated from University of Technology Sydney, Dan majored in Accounting and International Business and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia since 2002. He is married and father of three sons.

Julia is the first non-Korean specialist in Korean traditional alcohol, or ‘Sool’ and the founder of The Sool Company. With 14 years experience in Korea and almost 10 years in the Korean alcohol industry, Julia is a passionate and committed member of the small business and local Korean startup economy. The Sool Company has been providing Korean alcohol education, consulting and tourism experiences since 2016, and works closely with the artisan Korean traditional alcohol industry. As an Australian, Julia also actively seeks out opportunities to collaborate with both Australian and Korean businesses to improve cultural awareness and enhance progress within the Korean alcohol sector.

Jacco Zwetsloot has lived in Korea for 19 of the last 24 years, with a broad range of work experience in the communication, tourism and broadcasting sectors.
Currently, Jacco works for Insight Communications Consultants as a senior consultant in public relations and communication to Korean and international firms. He also hosts the weekly NK News Podcast, appears as a weekly guest on Arirang Radio, moderates panel discussions, writes a monthly Korean newspaper column, and organizes meetings of people who travel to North Korea to exchange observations.
Jacco holds a Master of Arts degree in Korean Studies from Leiden University, a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Monash University and a separate Bachelor of Arts in Modern European Studies and the German Language from the University of Melbourne.
