Amb. Hyoeun Jenny Kim is Deputy Director-General of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). GGGI is a treaty-based inter-governmental organization supporting developing countries and emerging economies to achieve economic growth and environmental sustainability together through following new pathway of green growth. She is responsible for managing GGGI’s in-country operations in more than 30 countries, which support low carbon economic growth, including NDC development and implementation.

Before joining the GGGI in 2018, she was the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Senegal and five neighboring countries from 2016. She contributed to build strategic development cooperation relationship between Korean and West Africa. During her term, Korea drastically increased ODA in the region, having launched several new programs on rural development.

From 2013 to 2016, she was the Director for Strategy, Policy, and Communication at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). During her term of office, GGGI Strategic Plan 2015-2020 was rolled out.

As a career diplomat in Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she has served as Director for Climate Change and Environment Affairs and Director for World Trade Organization (WTO). She led the national delegation in UN climate change negotiations and WTO DDA negotiations. She also worked for the OECD in Paris and the UN in NY.

She earned her Bachelor’s in political science and diplomacy from Yonsei University in Seoul and the Master’s from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Jongsun (Jon) Kim is the Chief Marketing Officer at Pepper Savings Bank, having commenced his role in May 2014.

Previously, between September 2008 and March 2014, Jon served as the General Manager (Strategy Department) at SC Bank. Between 2000 - 20006, he also worked as a Researcher(Economic Research Center)at Kookmin Bank.

Jon holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MA in European Area Studies from Korea University and a BA in German Language and Literature, Korea University.

Soo is a Vice President in IFM Investors’ Hong Kong office. Since joining IFM in 2018, Soo has worked on a number of acquisitions and asset management for the IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, including Buckeye Partners and Impala Terminals. She is responsible for the origination and execution of transactions in Asia.

Prior to joining IFM, Soo worked in Macquarie Capital and Barclays Bank based in Hong Kong.

Soo has a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Chris Newton is the Executive Director of Responsible Investment at IFM Investors. Here, he works to enhance IFM’s responsible investment endeavours and to drive ESG innovation. Chris has significant expertise and experience on ESG policy and sits on the IFM Investors Investment Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Council for Asia Pacific. Previously, he provided ESG advice to Boards, CEOs and Government Ministers ranging from corporate strategy, economic policy, financial evaluations, M&A and corporate responsibility.

Chris is a Non-Executive Director of Westernport Water and Social Traders. Chris was an original member of the PRI Infrastructure Advisory Council and also sits on a number of industry working groups, including ACSI, the IGC Climate Change Policy Working Group and the PRI working groups on “Just Transition” and Human rights. Chris has also been appointed as Co-Chair of the IGCC Net Zero Investment Framework Working Group and the advisory council for the Net Zero Asset Managers Alliance.

Rowan Petz is the Executive Director at the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Korea. Rowan brings a wealth of diverse experience and knowledge into his role having initially studied as a fraud investigator before moving into the currency management sector for six years.
Rowan’s passion for international trade and politics led him to a degree in International Relations from La Trobe University, Melbourne. Having received the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong and the Victorian Government’s Hamer scholarship awards, Rowan was granted the opportunity to study International Relations and Korean language at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.

With a strong passion for wanting to further strengthen the Australian-Korean relationship, Rowan commenced work at Chamber in 2016.

Chris Raciti is CEO of ANZ Korea, commenced in November 2017 . As CEO Korea, Chris is responsible for leading the Korean franchise, driving Korean corporate relationships across the region and growing ANZ’s access to Korean FI liquidity.
Chris relocated to Seoul from Hong Kong where he has held senior roles in ANZ’s market leading Loan Syndication and Structured Finance business. He has been with ANZ for more than 15 years, primarily within the Institutional business in Australia, Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Chris holds a Bachelor of International Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. Chris has also studied in Korea and Japan.

Andrew transferred from Macquarie Capital to Blueleaf Energy Asia in April 2021 where he is the Investment Director and Country Head, Korea based in Seoul.

Blueleaf Energy Asia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Macquarie | GIG developing, financing and managing high performance solar systems in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to Blueleaf Energy, Andrew spent more than a decade advising clients on a range of Mergers & Acquisitions and strategic opportunities in Australia, before transitioning to Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure and Energy Group based in Seoul in 2017 to support the growth of the green energy platform in Asia. Andrew managed Macquarie Capital’s 50% owned and Korean based organic food waste recycling and waste to energy platform, ReClean Holdings, including as Nominee Board Director, and recently led its solar and onshore wind development activities in Korea before transferring to Blueleaf Energy.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (First Class) and a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Queensland. Andrew also studied at the University of British Columbia (Canada) on exchange during his undergraduate studies.

Nancy Wang (Director, Sustainable Finance International of ANZ)

Nancy Wang is a Director in ANZ’s Sustainable Finance International team. She has 15 years of banking and accounting experience across Hong Kong, Beijing and Sydney. Nancy is the appointed ANZ representative of green and sustainable finance in Hong Kong, supported by her 10-year experience working in Hong Kong and mainland China locally.

Nancy is responsible for originating and structuring green & sustainability linked solutions across various product areas. Recent transactions include Beijing Enterprises Green Bond, SK Innovation Green Loan and Sustainability Linked Loan for a global conglomerate based in Hong Kong.

Nancy is a member of the Hong Kong Green Finance Association Banking Working Group, and a committee member in the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association Taiwan Banking Committee. Recent 2020 media experience include the HKGFA Green Banking Webinar, HKIB Sustainable Finance Panel, APLMA Green Finance Panel and AustCham Women in Finance Panel.

Nancy’s background is in loan syndications and credit analysis, with focus on North Asia corporate & financial institutions. She has an audit and assurance background from EY and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Accounting from The University of New South Wales, Sydney.

Nancy is a champion for equity & inclusion within ANZ as co-chair of the diversity & inclusion committee, and through her work in Hong Kong at The Women's Foundation and AustCham Hong Kong. She co-founded non-profit organisation Girls Just Wanna Have Fund$ with a vision to close the gender investing gap and advance social impact within communities in Hong Kong and across APAC.
